Erin attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she played varsity volleyball. Driven by her love for competition and team sports, she picked up the game of tennis as an adult and has played competitively ever since.

Whether she’s playing or teaching, most days you can find Erin on the tennis court. “As an adult player, tennis is one of the few sports in which you can still be coached. I love the process of learning something new in practice and then translating that during match play. “ As an instructor, Erin enjoys working with beginners of all ages. “There’s nothing better than watching a new student pick up a skill. You can see it click, and you know you’ve got a tennis player for life.”

Erin competes regularly in ladies’ and mixed USTA teams across the  DMV.  She and her teammates have attended several USTA National Championship events, representing the Mid-Atlantic –  in 2018 and 2019 her 18+ 9.0 Mixed team won 1st and 3rd Place, in 2024,  her 4.0 Ladies’ 40+ Team won 1st Place and in 2025, her Mixed 40+ 9.0 team won 1st place!
