Are AVSP Youth Programs licensed?
Our After School Program, Summer Camp, and Day Camp/School’s Out Camp are all licensed as a child day center by the Virginia Department of Education. To remain in compliance, state standards require certain items to be on file for each child prior to attendance. We do not accept drop-in attendance unless you are registered with all the required documents on file and payments made. Our current capacity is 40 children per program, and ages accepted are 5-12 years of age. Our program is open to Ashburn Village residents and non-residents, with prices varying depending on the program you are participating in and resident status. Resident AVSP accounts and HOA dues must be in good standing to continue attendance.
What training does AVSP Youth Programs staff receive?
We ensure that our staff receives the necessary training and clearance in accordance with Virginia Department of Education licensing standards. See below for the qualifications each employee must have prior to working with children:

What activities and schedule is offered for the After School Activities Program (ASAP)?
